Owner Operator

Michael Reed - Owner/Operator

I started working as a tire technician in 2000 for a small shop in Colorado and quickly moved through the positions and became a senior tech with the company. I found a new home in Arizona in 2010 and started a bachelor's degree in Culinary Management while managing six repair facilities in the East Valley. While managing multiple locations, plenty of professional automotive contacts and relationships were built that progressed towards consulting and then business ownership.

Spectrum Car Care was an amazing opportunity that presented itself and the right time. I worked the front counter as the store manager for 2 years before purchasing the establishment in 2021. Ethical automotive repairs is how my career started and that is the center focus of my success in this industry. Customers are educated throughout the entire repair process for a transparent repair. Our staff prides themselves on ethical automotive repair.

I am an enthusiastic outdoorsman that loves to get lost on any dirt road. I enjoy cooking magnificent meals, fine wine, and traveling with my wife.

Michael Craig - Store Manager

I have been working on cars for 15+ years and enjoy learning every day. I strive to be the best of the best, this includes fixing cars, leading other technicians and raising my girls.

I am a germaphobe. I like things to be clean and organized. When I am not at work, I love taking my girls in my Jeep out to the mountains and exploring.

Zane Chiles - Repair Technician

I completed 2 years of automotive school and have been fixing cars for just over 4 years. I really enjoy learning new repair processes and fixing cars in general.

In my free time I am 4 wheeling with friends and family. I have explored so many different places in Arizona and really enjoy being out in nature. Small towns that aren’t full of tourists yet is where you will find me on the weekends

I enjoy fabricating anything to do with home remodeling, and car repairs. Old antique diving and scuba equipment is fascinating and learning the history behind the different uses is intriguing.
